About the QUIET storm project
The Partners:
the QUIET storm projectbegan in May of 1996 when development began
for the script of the QUIET storm - Annie's Journey. In order to accomplish
our goal of ending relationship violence, a multi-dimensional collaboration
was formed in the spring of 1998. the QUIET storm projectcollaboration
was organized with a goal of developing a superior domestic violence prevention
tool. The collaboration consists of 6 non-profit domestic violence organizations
located in Minnesota. Each organization brings a variety of expertise and
knowledge that will ensure the success ofthe QUIET storm project.

the QUIET storm project:
- Focuses on the prevention of relationship
violence for youth (ages 25 and under) the QUIET storm
project is designed for students
in grades 5 through
12. And for students who are in college.
Addresses the problem of domestic violence at the beginning - when
people start getting into relationships
Integrates easily into lesson plans and can be used as a stand -
alone domestic violence prevention learning module
- Integrates into an existing domestic violence
prevention curriculum
the QUIET storm project is worth the cost because it contains:
